Fitness Coaching"I've tried numerous diets, the latest fad exercise class, gotten up one hour early to work-out and I still repeat the same patterns" Fitness Coaching is for anyone wanting to create lasting change and a healthier lifestyle. Whether you are an avid exercisers who gets upset when you miss a day at the gym or you are someone who avoids exercise like the plague or you fall somewhere in between- fitness coaching is for you. Through one weekly coaching session at my location or by phone we will explore the underlying causes for your stressors, new ways of looking at your total health, and what lifestyle changes you can make to promote a happier and healthier you. We will also explore how breath is the foundation for optimal health and you will learn tools for becoming more aware of the ways in which you carry you bodies and the impact that it has. We will meet twice a week at your location and I will guide you through custom designed exercises to improve your physical strength, flexibility and stamina. Some methods I may use include: yoga, meditation, pilates, manual resistance training, free weights, running, and fitness walking. Your fitness program will be designed to meet your specific needs, desires and interests. Through this method of total training, fitness coaching will be connecting you with your authentic self and sustaining change in your body, mind and spirit.
Fitness Training Program Design"I'm not quite sure what to do and I don't want to injure myself" This one and a half hour program offers you the foundation for a safe and effective physical fitness program. You will receive a custom tailored program that combines: strength training, stretching and cardiovascular exercise. You will also learn how to implement the routine with correct form and gain a basic understanding of the methods behind it. You will learn how to stand with proper posture, breathe correctly and perform the exercises with correct position. Together we will discuss the things you like to do, your commitment to exercise and how to create an enjoyable and lasting program. Some methods used include: yoga, pilates, manual resistance training, machine and free weights. You will also receive fitness assessment tests including: body fat, strength, and flexibility testing. This program is suitable for anyone wanting to make changes in their personal health and well being, regardless of your experience. |
